Born, Piombino Dese, Padua, Veneto, Italy, 17th May 1936.
Passed away peacefully in Brisbane on Monday 24th February 2025.
Aged 88 years.
Son of Francesco and Marcella Marconato (dec’d). Brother of Anacleto (dec’d), Abramo (dec’d), Andreina (dec’d), Gina (dec’d). Loving husband of Angela (dec’d), Adored father, father-in-law of Tiziano and Marcella Sgualdino and Abramo and Tracy Marconato. Beloved Nonno of Adriano, Gianni and Francesca and partners and Chiara, Fabio, Giuliano and partners. Proud Bisnonno to 4 boys soon to be 5, Harvey and Miles Simmons-Bliss and Dante Sgualdino and Nathaniel Marconato.
Family and friends of Mario are respectfully invited to attend Mario’s Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 16 Villiers Street, New Farm on Tuesday 4th March 2025, commencing at 10.30 am, followed by interment at Nudgee Cemetery.
