Legacy Funerals offers this option when the family is requesting a direct cremation and no funeral service will take place. Direct Cremation in Brisbane, is also known as “Unattended Cremation”, “Private Cremation”, or “No Service, No Attendance Cremation”. This service will be arranged with professionalism and dignified preparation of your loved one.
A Funeral Director can meet the family at their residence to assist in completing all the documentation required or if preferred, just contact us and we will email you the documentation required.
Your loved one will be respectfully transferred in our care, professionaly washed and dressed by a qualified mortician.
The Funeral Director will make all the arrangements required and lodge the information for the registration of death. An Essential MDF coffin complete with lining and pillow will be used, not a cardboard box. We can also arrange the delivery of ashes and cremation certificate to your residence. (Brisbane Area)

$2,000.00 incl. GST
Inclusions: Legacy Funerals Professional Fee, transfer of your loved one in our care during business hours (in Brisbane area), professional mortuary preparation, standard size mdf essential coffin, white lining, pillow and nameplate, one death certificate, cremation permission fee, business hours cremation fee quoted at Nudgee crematorium, cremation certificate.

Legacy Professional Fee
- A Legacy Funerals funeral director will come to discuss funeral arrangements in the comfort of your own home.
- Transfer of your loved one from place of death to our mortuary (weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm).
- After hours transfer fee: $550.00 incl. GST. (Between 4:30 pm and 8:30 am weekdays, weekend, public holiday)
- Professional care and preparation of your loved one.
- Use of the mortuary from the day of transfer to the day of the Funeral (if more than 21 days, an extra fee of $33.00 per day will apply).
- Collection of Certificates from Hospital or Doctor’s Office.
- Completion of Statutory requirements.
- Preparation and insertion of newspaper notice.
- Making all the necessary arrangements by contacting clergy/celebrant, musicians, catering.
- Facilitate memoriam book, order of service booklets, DVD (recorded memories), or music on USB.
- Booking the venue, church, cemetery or crematorium.
- Officially registering the death certificate.
- Arrange everything necessary for completion of the church/chapel/graveside service. Including vehicles and pall bearers.
- Conducting the service/funeral.
- Advise on religious and ceremonial requirements.
- Support and advice, 24/7.
