Baker Genovesi, Margaret.
Opera singer and beloved wife of Vittorio Genovesi of New Farm, Brisbane, Australia, formerly of Rome, Italy, died peacefully on Wednesday 23rd February 2022.
Aged 89 years.
Margaret was an adored sister to Alan Eric Baker, sister in law to Fabrizio Genovesi, Auntie to Maria Luce and Francesco Genovesi, godmother to Tarita Botsman, singing teacher to students across the globe and dedicated friend to Margaret Anne Baker Meagher, Heidi Fruth-Sachs, Jorn Schnell, Anne McDonell, Anne Ambrose and Nora Biltoft.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of Margaret’s life to be held at the Centenary Memorial Gardens Chapel, Brisbane, on Thursday 3rd March 2022, commencing at 10:30 a.m.
